Basic Game Plan

I was inspired by a beautiful young lady I saw on a new I found today. healthystride.blogspot.com

So, here is my game plan and I have to stick to this no matter what! I encourage any and all to join my new healthy adventure.

No more excuses, no more wasted time and no more soda pop!

Lots more energy to play with my kids!

Basic Plan:

30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week

3 mile walk (weather permitting) 5 days a week

30 minutes strength training 5 days a week

Motto:

Think about each day as it comes, hour by hour. Don't think

about tomorrow.

ENJOY THE JOURNEY!

Yikes!

Okay, so my timing of starting this new way of life wasn't very good. Mother's day weekend was really bad for the dieters. The food at the parties was unbelievably yummy. I just haven't had two meals that were just out of this world in one day before and the left overs still taste really good. I will undoubtedly finnish the brunch left overs, however, I have been colecting the tools I need to keep going strong. With the left-overs, I just have to work that much harder for this next week. I have got three different workouts so I won't get bored plus I just found some cool stomach buster moves trying to get to my blog. So, as soon as Lainie is down for her morning nap, I will be trying out the first new work out. (doubling it because of the quiche that I will be having for breakfast.)
One funny. I bought a pedometer today and put it on when I got home tonight. I started marching in place while reading the pamphlet of it. My husband said asked what I was doing and when I answered he said that it wasn't going to do anything for me. My son jumped to my defence and explained that it was just like doing the step aerobics on the wii or walking so it will help me out. My husband just kind of shrugged okay and went on with his fourth piece of pizza. We will see who gets fit first. (and the funny thing is the fact that he is supposed to be preparing for a 25 mile bike ride that will be 1 month and two days away. He hasn't done one thing to train. I pray he doesn't have a heart attack or stroke while doing it cold. He is 25 lbs heavier than he has ever been.) I will lose that before he does. That is what will be driving me for the next three months. So wish me luck!
